Konjac vermicelli noodles are made from the konjac yam, also known as the konnyaku or shirataki plant. This kind of magic plant is native to China,Japan,Indonesia and part of other Southeast Asia countries. The root or yam of konjac contains a fiber is water-soluble called glucomannan, which is the main ingredient used to make Konjac vermicelli noodles.
